On one cold evening in London, two women can heard arguing, one of them throws a knife and misses the other woman, silence fills the room at that point then the woman who threw the knife says,

“Mei Kurashiki, let’s start over again”

Whenever Anika says that, I always find myself running back to her. We have always been like that, we have broken up and got back together a lot of times and I was hoping she’d change herself for me.

One day, she called me to meet her at her hotel room after she had a fling with another woman. I went to her hotel room drunk with a bottle in my hand and started banging on her door while yelling her name. Then she opened the door while in lingerie and said in a seductive tone,

“What’s happening, Mei Kurashiki?”

“Why did you ask me to come here?”

“I wanted to talk to you, come in”

When I was pulled in the hotel room and Anika suddenly started kissing me aggressively, I pushed her to the bed and started choking her. before anything could happen, I come to my senses and let go, Anika gasped for air then leaned on the working desk and picked up a bottle and started drinking. I looked at her with sharp eyes and yelled,

“You leave me alone, you understand, I want to go back to Lamshima but you spent all our money!!! You have your white trash to take care of you.”

“Screw you!!!”

“Why did you call me here!? Why!?”

Anika lit a cigarette and said desperately

“Because I want to be with you, I really want to be with you.”

I threw the bottle in my hand and left the hotel, as I left I could hear Anika snivelling.

The next day came and I am at my rented apartment, it is run down yet the ceiling is very high, not centralised but it is cheap. I hear a knock at my door and when I opened it, it was Anika was at my doorstep, beated up and bloody. I was shocked when I saw Anika, she slowly moved in and hugged me.

After bringing Anika to the hospital, she looked at me and said,

“Mei Kurashiki, Let’s start over again”
