Little boy with his little hatA Poem by D RoseA poem about a small boy during the Holocaust and how everything is
A boy with a dream
Crushed by a German invasion All that was left was burning Buildings, bloodstained walls, and people screaming For mercy as everything was falling Apart around them This boy shows in his face despair Depression, sadness So much fear, so little hope Being behind those wires tells me 'You will never have freedom, joy or Happiness of any kind behind me' I feel so sad for this little boy With his little hat and frown That may have been turned around by someone Or died with a dream for happiness That will forever be unfulfilled Germans Burning memories Screams of dead Gunshots everywhere Blood staining everything And a lesson to generations That made a giant impact In this giant world © 2016 D RoseAuthor's Note
