Your passions murmur like ripples...

Your passions murmur like ripples...

A Poem by Rae
"

You are shallow.

"

Your passions murmur like ripples caused by ripples in a puddle,

and I was but a stone dropped accidentally in your still, murky deeps.

A stone can cause quite a storm in a puddle;

it is much larger than dust or leaves,

                        much heavier,

                                    much more obtrusive.

I left your water muddy.

            (That's what you're sore about.)

But it will settle, and you'll be clear and clean again.

For ripples forget quickly, and your still waters

            will never feel the stone sunk at the bottom.

Great imagery, and beautifully put. I've known a few people like this.
