I'm halfhearted to say I'm okay with the remaining distance.
I still miss your existence beside my side,
Tormenting me through slow hours of Summer evenings.
I'm ready to find my place again in these empty shoes.
And I know I look like I've lost some weight,
Wrestled a cheetah and fought a wolf,
Changed my eye tone to midnight hours;
But I'm okay sweetheart; just tired of it all.
