Him

Him

A Poem by Summer Daisy
"

I met him yesterday, unannounced and uninvited

"
I can hear my heart beating again
My skin glowing with life
I met him yesterday
He stood right before my eyes
And I didnt know I was holding my breath
Like witnessing a fallen angel in the middle of a night
Like the joy of holding your newborn
Like the sight of a vast ocean during summer time

I will forgive his thousand mistakes and many more
I will forget the pain and hurt i felt before
I will let him kill me if necessary
I will let him do whatever pleases him

I accept that he is not mine
But I am his in this lifetime.
