streets,corners,and avenues

a short poem

Never mind dear old me.

I'm just a cast away.

lost at sea.

 

I go to random places.

to new and old.

i see new faces.

and lands filled with gold.

 

For the loved ones i've left behind.

for some day we hope to meet.

and our love be intertwined.

 

I don't mind the good new.

from streets,corners,and avenues.

 

so never mind dear old me.

I'm just a cast away.

Let me be.

 

Seeing more things than a man should.

there are more than bad and good.

the cruelty of men is spread vast.

and sometimes we wonder about the past.

 

Whether it is good or not.

we will fall and then we'll rot.

to see the life that is new.

and another adventure we will persue.

 

for those i have left behind.

My heart goes to thee.

so never mind Dear old me.

I am now somewhere pleasent.

Leave me be.
