Will we meet?

I'm still waiting to find,
Someone for me
A person to need
A person to want
Someone to trust with my deepest thoughts,
I've been in a drought
4 years long.

I can't remember your touch
Your smell
Your taste
Your sound
I'm blinded by regret
When will I meet you.
When will I move on.
Will I forget old pains and forge a new?
A new love to taste,
To touch
To smell
To see
Or will past ghosts be to loud and intrude?

I hope to meet you one day,
Smiling and free
Outside laying just out of the shade of a tree,
Watching cloud?
Maybe reading a book?
Hopefully something we can enjoy after it rains and my drought's no more.
Hopefully....
