The Storm

The Storm

A Poem by Paradoxical
"

A song/poem

"
It feels like an ocean
Wants to swallow me up
I’ll fall in its waves
Like a newborn pup

I’ll float on coral reefs
And watch as the fish swim
Waiting for the ocean life
To take me to the rim

Waves crash around me
Silent as the storm
Cliffs rise around me
Silent as the storm

As the moon churns up the waters
The storm will pass on through
As the sun calms down the waters
The storm will pass on through

Surfboards catch the waves
As the clouds roll in tonight
Sea life spread the news
To me in the moonlight

As the rain drips down my cheeks
It falls to the deep blue
And all my ocean friends
Don’t know what to do

Waves crash around me
Silent as the storm
Cliffs rise around me
Silent as the storm

As the moon churns up the waters
The storm will pass on through
As the sun calms down the waters
The storm will pass on through

Dawn breaks the dark sky
Clearing out the rain
And a new day has come
Unlocking the chain

As the moon churns up the waters
The storm will pass on through
As the sun calms down the waters
The storm will pass on through
