Venom

Venom

A Poem by Paradoxical

The snake

He slithers
Along the ground
And he hides
Never found

The spider

She crawls
Spinning high
Tiny threads
In the sky

The lizard

He squirms
Amidst the rocks
Sunbathing scales
Eyes are locks

The toad

He hops
Through the sand
Between the water
And the land

The venom

It resides
Within the skin
Of these creatures
Killing off kin
