QuestionsA Poem by Imeric87Questions to GodAs I ponder my insubstantial existence, I may inevitably stare, but why is there such immense distance? Oh God, why is it always ceaseless agonizing questions? Am I forever doomed to die of this abhorrent depression? Jesus, Savior, please have pity. Your servant is not strong enough for this city. Why did you make me like this? Could I not be like the others, and enjoy the bliss? Lord, if you'll lend me your ear Why the f**k am I here? Tell me, am I condemned to be enduringly alone? Am I infinitely bound to wander on my own? Lord, lend me your eyes Let me perceive what you see, for I only behold lies. Elucidate what love really is. What does it look like? Clear my blurred vision, so I may strike. God, I can't even remember what I once knew. Show me a sign, give me a clue Have I grown insane? This world is to hard to handle, I try not to abstain. Father, lend me your body. Your love, your faith, I am ready to embody. I am ready, give me the pain of the Earth Lord, I am ready for this immaculate rebirth © 2015 Imeric87Author's Note
