Empty

Empty

A Poem by Immortal Beloved

It’s how I feel everyday, every year, every second, every hour.

A seashell on a pebble beach.

Hollowed out by the F5 of break up lines.

My heart pierced by the stinger of a scorpion and it’s venom rearing it’s ugly face everytime I find love.

My loving heart is as big as Hellboy’s right hand.

My heart’s been torn asunder by 16 seasons of torture.

The warmth of my Phoenix heat slowly burning away til only ashes remain in it’s place.

My love comes and goes.

But still deep inside I feel empty.
