Moonflower

A Poem by Immortal Beloved
"

That’s what you are to me.

Rare.

Supple.

Delicate.

My precious.

Priceless.

Untamed.

The petals soft and silky like your lips and skin oh such sweet sexual electricity upon a single touch.

The stem resembling two features of you: coarse and long.

Coarse is it’s texture much like when we argue cutting each other down with our venomous words.

Long just like your creamy stalks that are oh so good for endless massage after massage.

That is how I see you everyday of my life:

My moonflower.

Wow! That was a really beautiful poem. The subtleness and brevity of this piece really worked as an advantage to it's overall feel. I liked the contrast between the short and sharp list at the start of the poem and the long and flowing sentences in the second half. The fact that this poem carried such a deep meaning to you, really came through to the reader. The way this poem progressed was perfect! I couldn't have imagined it any other way.
You did an amazing job!
