Breaking Habits

Breaking Habits

A Poem by Ty

Fancy a trip down town?
We could walk along the streets like we used to
Hold hands like we used to
Laugh at bad jokes like we used to

Fancy a trip down town?
We could drag our feet like we used to
Drink one too many like we used to
Share words like we used to

Fancy a trip down town?
We could yell till our voices are raw like we used to
Throw vases like we used to
Bleed like I used to...

Fancy a trip down town?

No.

Excellent little piece this. Sometimes repetition gets to the point quicker :)
