Once upon a time

A great man once told me

I reminded him of Elizabeth Taylor.

And I think

It was one of

The nicest things he had ever said to me.

 

At the time

I didn't know who she was

Or what she did

But I thanked him anyway

because it would be rude not to.

 

Now that I'm older

I know who she is

and I think that

Maybe

I need to thank him again

For his kind words.
