God Forbid the Grey Circle

God Forbid the Grey Circle

A Poem by Silentspeaker
"

This poem is in memory of Katie Flynn. Here's a link to her story. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/10/18/nyregion/18dwi.ht Rest in peace, girl.

"
I could never hold you
After the sirens blared
Head in your hands.
Fading away, you were gone.

My heart died as a brother's heart would.
You twisted her, and you twisted me.
You stabbed me with the white knife.
So cruel, I have to give up and burn.

It's always the pure things that bring hate
For we can't stop ourselves
But, God forbid the innocents slaughter themselves
Or I might as well go, I've seen all I need to see
As if I hadn't already

But, in best case, this is the leas morbid for our eyes
Yin and Yang, opposite, fill the shroud.
Least, we think the world as a big grey circle
