Improv

Improv

A Poem by ComeBack
"

A way that I played the part in public so people thought I was happy,

"

Improv

They give me a tragic scenario that I pretend I’ve never been in,

But I play it well because it’s a scenario I’ve lived,

Every day a disturbing scene of my smile and mask shattering,

A mental breakdown because my life was never flattering.

Abuse; verbal, physical, mental, emotional,

Head spinning with thoughts of everything to which I am devotional,

Body and mind in pain,

hurt,

Can I recover again,

I tell my thoughts to leave me alone,

But they have no other place to go,

They are never quiet,

They are always loud,

Bugging me and bothering me,

There is nothing to do but think now,

We all wear social masks...
Life is a bit like a stage play that we gotta participate no matter if we like it.
Memories sometimes can also be difficult to handle.
Really enjoyed reading this poem.
Very good.
Take good care.
