Collisions of the Night

Collisions of the Night

A Poem by Mek & the Infinite Madness

...A desolated wolf howls
at the circle of the moon
Painting a silhouette of
thoughts within the black that
surrounds the night
Resisting solace
and the calm
of a melancholic drowning
that shades the light
with shadows
and
elusive doubts
Heaving
an isolated reverie
memories of a fallen leaf
Dry and colorless
felt the void
that haunts the rhythms
of my deluded
sanity...
