Deaf Prayers

...We look up to the sky hoping 
the heavens would hear 
our plea
Not to seek for something
that cannot be found but 
to have something
that would save us
from the agony 
in each drop of tormented
sanctity
Almost 
into a scream
we utter this desperate 
cry 
and we mourn
for the things that were
never 
ours
And we realize
thoughts never cleared 
our heads...
