Nothing to say

Nothing to say

A Poem by LoVeBiRD18
"

I know everyone has been cheated on at some stage... Guess this is just another passionate cry for assistance on the matter

"
I long to speak but have nothing to say
No air passing my vocal cords as mt lips form vowels
A thousand words run around in my head but none can express what I feel now
It happened last night ,he said...
Alcohol was involved
Now; the formation of lips in a different manner
His lips forming over hers, his hands running over places never mentioned as he explained
He would never fully explain how it felt, how he had broken a silent promise I had kept for several months
How she had selfishly take a right, to love, away from someone who had been convinced they deserved it
I'll be seeing her again, he mentions
I murmur the okay, the reassurance that we would still exist in and outside realm
Unseen and unheard of until the sound of a heart shattering starts to break through the thick layer of dirt laid down by the shovel in his hands
9138 Kilometers down under the surface of his world I'll be waiting
Waiting for a crack in their surface

Welcome to WC. I look forward to listening to your thoughts.

It is hard to speak as the glass cracks and splinters and the blood leaks and leaks. The mind wants to run and scream the hurt it feels while the legs remain as stone. Sometimes anger sets in, but mostly THAT doesn't come until later when the hurt isn't as blinding. Each poem we write IS a part of us... each speaks with our voice. You'll fit in well here.

Take care,
Chris
