Oh How I RememberA Poem by Roberta SingerLooking back to my first night in Hong Kong
I remember the night I rode the open carriage,
above all that traveled beside me. Bringing me closer to neon light. As darkness set in, a new face of this city awoke. People came out to explore a familiar city, both strangers and natives alike could feel the wonder given to us by this brightly lit face. I remember moving to the cement from my ride up high, I remember feeling the brick as I ventured forth into a night unknown. The scent of food and fish, the sounds of people and cool wind rushing through. Oh how I remember, the gem I explored that neon night. © 2011 Roberta SingerAuthor's Note
