Best Friends

Best Friends

A Poem by Kristin
"

KMP** Dated: 2008. Caring for my closest friends.

"

We held on through the hardships by day.
The moon reflected ocean along the bay.
Almost like sisters to the end.
You guys were the star to my moon, my friend.
When one piece of the moon fell from the sky,
Trying over and again, until we die.
Light defeats the darkness of the unforgiving heart.
Writing some words couldn’t always be a start.
A wilted rose began from the eyes.
Rising to a perfect bloomed image with no cries.
Rushing river swallows us with the depths of light.
AS long as we’re together, our day will never be night.
Laying, awaiting a call.
To run to your side and never fall.
The shouting of names with the one last look, confusion around.
We go blind and hear no sound.
Like the angel’s in the past.
Our friendship will always last.
My other piece of life or eye, to a humble tree.
My best friends are my key.

I so agree with the way friends are made to be so important! Nothing can stand in the way of true friends, unless a train comes by and hits them.... but that doens't happen that often! :)

Great Poem! Loved it!
