I Miss You

I Miss You

A Poem by Kristin
"

KMP** Dated: 2008. I was missing someone at the moment.

"
I sit here and cry
Asking myself why?
I know you love another
Secretly I am your lover
I can’t say the exact thought
But you’ve taught me a lot
I’ll miss you every weeping day
For my sky will be black, every way
I haven’t known you for long
I just love you. I know I’m not wrong
For I sit here still crying, writing this to you
Tear stained face, who knew
I just had to say I’ll miss you, my heart is broken
Even if you didn’t feel the same way, my words unspoken
For this is a true weeping moment, don’t hate me
I’m still seeing your reflection, this is real, I can see
I was yours, but you weren’t mine
My heart has crossed the wrong line
But I’ll never regret the feeling I had
I pray you aren’t mad
My fantasy, my dream
Is all it will seem.
But I’ll never forget the last words you would say
As I cry to the sea and love you forever, day…by day

A very heartfelt poem ... I could feel your emotions so strongly ... wonderfully written ...

Clearly you put some work into this (formatting, etc) and I can see that you had strong emotions at the time. However, what's to set this apart from the thousand other "I miss you" poems on this site?
