True true true, as humans we can never have joy without pain, joy comes after the pain, after the struggle.

yes it does. Night/day yin/yang male/female joy/pain. That's the way things work
That's for sure..................................

it's impossible to really know joy without pain. with pain, things could only get better.

I had a friend tell me once I was addicted to the way I feel. I suppose there is truth in that.

ya, that does happen.
Ain't it the truth. We never cherish the softness or joy if we've never experienced the pain. That's why the man said it makes you stronger...strong enough to grasp the joy while it flies by on wings and strong enough to know when to let it go.

Down Thomas!.....yup it is Wichita! Nicely expressed old adage of there is no pleasure without pain. A friend of my ex used to say 'You have to suffer to perceive joy'.

What's life without some self-sabotage. Nice one, Mark.
