Life's Mark

A poem for depression

If you think that life’s not fair,

Don’t give up and don’t despair.

Look around and then think twice

Before you say that they’re not nice.

 

And if you want to cry,

And you want to question why,

Don’t let the feeling die.

 

And if you say that it’s not fair,

Don’t let it tear you down.

If you just look about with an open mind

You won’t feel this much forlorn.

 

Someone has a worse life than you,

So don’t let it pursue,

To get the best of you.
