Sweet Night

Sweet Night

A Poem by Dawn Jones

Sweet night

Sweet lonely night

Dust-covered ebony shroud

Dripping with flecks of molten white light

Sweet night

Glorious foreboding shadow

Sweet lonely night

Tender nonexistent touch

Cold lover

Whispering wind

Sweet Night

Love it, especially 'cold lover, whispering wind, sweet night' - the cold could be quite literally or distant and nonexistent as you mention in the line before.
