No one can fix the damage that you've done
The pain is over who we thought was the one
Grounded is were our feet must stay
Yet our heart is so far away
Holding it in your hands I give to you
Why wouldn't you let me hold yours too?
Hurt done to not only my heart
But my soul also got torn apart
What i would give to not feel this pain
To hear your lips say my name
Your arms around me
Did you really not believe?
I'm lost yet I'm stable
Expect my mind thinks im not able
Everything tells me to give up this light
Staying alive is an ongoing fight
But im being strong
Even if it feels wrong
I can smile
Yes, the hurt keeps getting added to the pile
These feelings are strong yet not the good kind
Hopefully, one of these days I will find
The one who'll lift me up not drag me down
One who can show me they will always be around.
