Canvas

Canvas

A Poem by Darkened_drear

You paint a canvas with your fingertips
Cover up all the mistakes
Make sure every line is in place and it is perfection
But your never really happy about it

Something is never right
You try to fix it so many times
But it never turns out the way you want it to
And your heart begins to feel heavy

You want to make it the best in your collection
The one that never loses its shine
But you cannot take it anymore
So you leave it behind

But one day you find yourself wondering
What became of the portrait
Is it still frozen in time
Or is much more divine now

If only you had waited and worked at it
Then maybe you would not be standing here alone

About
I am Becky Cooper and Im not perfect. All my flaws show but they do not define me because I have a strong heart and who I am is what makes me myself. My favorite color is black because it drowns out a.. more..
