Tempting Darkness

Tempting Darkness

A Poem by Darkened_drear

His poisonous passionate paining lips pursed against mine

I could taste the hell ridden regret resting upon his insistent tongue

Kissing the devil with the daring silver silent shrill irises coated in coaxing darkness

Moonlight laid flesh luminescent and looming upon mine in an infinite spiral

Consuming yearning for that unknown abyss in which his cruel cold heart offered

Tattooed by tainted intentions putting my conscious coiling in persistent clarity

Welcoming his eternal embrace of misfit disgrace

A beast of a man who captured the beauty of my transcending need as his own

The war had already been won with that spiteful smile in which snarled in my core

No way to escape the blood lust for the stranger in which dealt only blissful bludgeoning danger

At his whim , the master of matriarch maddening demons

To enter his universe of ancient evils , for I was his queen and destiny was whispering to me

Under these twisted malevolent trees
