Wearing your Naked kiss

Wearing your Naked kiss

A Poem by Inyourshadow
"

Why is there never enough time for lovers

"
In this blessed solitude of private lonely thought,
I again caress your hair kissed by autumns palette.
Gazing once more and as Narcissus am I caught,
in pools of love reflected in jeweled spheres so lightly set.

There in the time between two heartbeats am I bound,
and in silence, is the kiss fully understood.
As in your presence are my doubts and fears drowned,
upon salted lips that speak no words, but yet I wish they would.

If I could but here break the grasping hands of time,
steal back the day you lay dormant in my embrace.
As sunrise arose within your smile, soft, sublime,
and I as the waning moon sank low to kiss soft your face.

So before this night is lost in the depths of burning flame,
once more upon my lips I wear your kiss, naked and without shame.

We can waste it or we can spend it, we can even save it but once it is gone time can never be reclaimed.

To pursue the dream before time is lost
In a world of mayhem
We can create our own chaos
For the seconds grow tired
Tick with ease
And all that shall be left are hollow regrets
If this kiss is not savoured

Brilliant piece love, truly amazing imagery, you always layer your work divinely!
