Waves of Tears

Waves of Tears

A Poem by Inyourshadow
"

Just what it feels like when you leave

"

The waves of tears
erode my craggy features,
their salt
leaving my lips thirsty
for your kiss.

The wind blowing soft
in sobs through cobwebs,
spun on withered boughs
that ache to hold the fruit
of our love.

The air stale in fuming lungs
unable to breath,
aching breast rises and falls
in rhythmic pain
for your touch.

The sands of time slip fast
through shaking hands,
grasping for one more moment
to waste with you

making love.

So romantic! You describe so well the feeling of a tear in our face...
And show your feelings in a so deep and special way...

This rocks my world and it's not even to me :) I dream of the day when someone not only holds this kind of thought for me but actually expresses it.
Such a beautiful waste.
