Man Flu and Whiskey

Man Flu and Whiskey

A Poem by Inyourshadow
"

Sorry for the lack of rrs at moment as have man flu lol

"
I'm not so hot I'm full of snot
my nose is running free,
my throat is sore my tonsils raw
my voice won't speak to me.

I've popped me pills and fed me chills
my guts I've filled with goo,
my shirt is wet with fevered sweat
and stuck to me like glue.

I'm feeling sick my joints all click
my eyes have sprung a leak,
my body limp I feel a wimp
my muscles growing weak.

Vicks vapour rub a plastic tub
a towel or' my head,
inhale it deep and start to weep
and wish that I were dead.

I'm off to bed my nose blown red
my body aches for rest,
though none is found for i am bound
by phlem that binds my chest.

So pass the glass flu kiss my a*s
as I the whiskey chug,
I tried to cope but found no hope
so I will drowned the bug.
