You Drank Deep My Tears

You Drank Deep My Tears

A Poem by Inyourshadow
"

For a special friend Daytonight whom helped me through a very rough and dark time, the love is sibling as we are poetical brother and sister.

"

You drank deep my tears
tasting of me my pain,
and in softest of all whispers
swore you'd do it all again.

You held me to you
sharing with me my ache,
and in softest of embraces
swore you'd never let me break.

You kissed me softly
and bid me there to sleep,
and in softest of all bussoms
my sweet dreams drew me deep.

So never forbid me thine arms thy love thy kiss,
for all I am or dare to be is wrapped up soft in this.

Awwww....I am so very touched! Thank you too for staying up with me night after night while I shed tears for want of my someone special...always waiting on him. Your kindness and encouragement mean the world to me. Thank you for being my mentor! Couldn't ask for a better poetic brother!
