Higher than Clouds

Higher than Clouds

A Poem by Alm

My hands are so tired, reaching

for something that I know, will never

fall to my unsteady hands.

Is this what I really want?

Simple yet powerful, it kind of oozes sadness. But not an overwhelming amount. Just enough to keep it melancholy and painful. It's kind of a peaceful sadness, if that makes any sense. Probably not. I rarely do. But excellent job, anyway.

I shall conclude my complete and utter creeping now, because my eyes feel like they've go sand rubbed into them. Highly unpleasant. Keep writing, though. I shall be lurking about more often.... *creepy, slightly insane cackle*

Yep. It's time for bed. Goodnight/Good morning/Good afternoon!

The pain of longing for something that just cannot be given to yourself is expressed wonderfully here.

About
Alm is short for Alyssa Marie. I'm sixteen now, I don't claim to write well. I'm sorry if I review bad. Sometimes I bake snickerdoodles, the smell of cinnamon and vanilla on my fingertips lingers... more..
