BlanketA Poem by Isadora CupcakeIf i could project myself Across the night sky By dropping my lids & harnessing the moon I would sneak in beside you as you dreamed Of me And like midnight clouds hanging low I would envelope you, drinking in your Essence Permeating your 3am unconsiousness Silently petting your brain with my adoration Floating above in wisps of whispers Gently stroking your sleeping soul Connecting lips with white warm breath Wishing you awake to ground me I sink slowly on top, melding into your core Kissing you awake Blanketing you in the dark with my love © 2013 Isadora CupcakeFeatured Review
