A Poem by Ishan Sadwelkar
"

Rather impulsive and personal poem written in social exile.

"

I’m All About Now

 (XXX-IV-2010 8.45 p.m.)

I’m all about now

Neither here or there

Trapped in a linear assessment

Curving into a conclusion

Like a tap releasing a shower

Reaching back to my previous

Focal promise

A silent poet in army of critics

Chaotic in my own right

Analyzing

the various phases of suddenness

Highly verbal, effective as an alarm

Screaming at the right time

I’m all about now

Novel and ethereal

Neither black nor white

But as transparent as the colour of light.

A silent poet in army of critics - What a great line! Very visual and yet, very simply put. Nicely done!

You write as if almost every line is a poem in and of itself...I actually like that very much. Great job with this poem.

I was thinking of many things while I wrote this poem. Suffocation.

I like this. It's different. The wording fits quite well to the feel and point of the poem. It's very strong then we get hit with that last line that, to me, indicates a weakness. Very honest piece. Well done!
