They are real
but they are myth
Because they are
Illuminati
They deceive
From the myth
they create
For Illuminati
They are darkness
yet they are light
In illuminati
They are myth
Yet they exist
and still Illuminati
But they are myth
And can deceive
and operate
In reality.

Author's Note

In an attempt to explain the confusion and reality of conspiracy theories, the poem discusses a popular secret society often held by these theories. If the Illuminati is a secret society with all the negativities the conspiracy theories allude it, then the Illuminati will definitely also create conspiracy theories about itself to help confuse the public about its existence in the first instance to prove the theories wrong. As a secret society, it will do everything to remain secret, including manufacturing duplicated counterfeits of the original truth and making it seem too foolish or confusing to be true. But the Illuminati is only an example the writer uses to explain that organizations publicly viewed as threats such as secret societies will always exist, but will always be secret, hence the name, ”secret society.” Therefore, more the public labor to find them out by bringing out theories, the more they labor to confuse the public by stupefying the theories.
