What is it?

What is it?

A Poem by Itsdandammit
"

A challenge among friends to describe a word without using it

"

As the towers fell and the death toll rose

It burst forth in clouds that billowed and rolled

The whole world watched moaning their prayers

As it covered the ruin in gray ash layers

It falls as motes that mar your clothes

It floats in the breeze to explode your nose

It Adorns your face and flecks your hair

Then screams in storms that strip you bare

Fairies will sprinkle it as a joke

As addicts roll it up to smoke

With busy brooms the cleaners sweep it

As greedy jewelers sift and keep it

Ashes to ashes you rhyme this thing

As witches toss it on spells as they sing

White glove test for it if you care

Or make it by grinding chalk so fair

Warriors battle testing their mettle

will see the outcome when it settles

If your fast enough to leave them in it

your fast enough that you can win it

You can bite it in mortal combat ahorse

Or eat mine if your too slow on the course

You will turn to it slowly when your are dead

It even makes bunnies under the bed

It can cover vast deserts and be seen from space

Yet so infinitesimally small, there's barely a trace

But all in all, at the end of the day

just blow it off or whisk it away

This was very creative. I enjoyed the tempo. This might be my favorite piece of yours. Nicely done.

This was an awesome way to use but not use the word. This piece is great. It had me laughing towards the end. “Or eat mine if your to slow on the course” . Another one bites the ****. Great job. I rather enjoyed this very much.

Powerful writing. Each line is strong enough to catch attention. Good work 👍
