Devil with wings.

Devil with wings.

A Poem by PeaceOfMind
"

You die at the hands of ones who you would take a bullet for.

"
The treacherous dream of you and I
It was terrible but kind
Made me impatient for kisses
And weary against time.

Sung me to sleep each night
The demons crawling in my brain
Waking me with smiling screams
Or was it a pendulum in my mind.

A devil with wings, is what I call you
And I was the dying angel with horns
Attaching myself with your world
The ship is burning, that is true.

As the sail caught the blowing wind
And it lead them to a bleeding hell
It screaming, please not another angel
I really don't want them all dead.

This is very different, I guess. Or the same theme put in different words. Upto you to decide.
Thank you for reading.

Could be a unique part 2 of ascending, or a devilish delightful piece on it's own. I really like the lines "made me impatient for kisses and weary against time "

I wanted it to be part two of ascending. But then thought about keeping this independent. Thank you .. read more
