Dark Side Of The Faces...

This poetry describes the dark side of human faces which they hide by using fake masks.

In shadows cast by flickering light,
Lies a realm concealed, out of sight,
A tapestry woven with threads of disguise,
The dark side of faces, where secrets arise.

Beneath the masks that we all wear,
Lurks a darkness, a hidden lair,
A realm where truth is often veiled,
And the depths of human nature are unveiled.

For faces, like coins, have two sides,
One that's shown, and one that hides,
A smile may conceal a heart in pain,
Eyes may sparkle, yet tears may rain.

In the dark side of faces, demons reside,
Whispering secrets, they cannot hide,
The scars of battles fought within,
Etched upon the canvas of human skin.
