For I Who Rise

For I Who Rise

A Poem by Ivy

For I who rise at want (and plead)
though courtesy is free
up and Out (of you) from me
is heartstring of my need

Jump at can (fall at don’t)
but on my want I sleep
empty call without note
no hum and not (a peep)

retreat retreat under viscous rocks of previous entrapment
be fine (caredwant) rice dances at her response.

About
Here's my poetry. The good, the bad, the downright horrendous. Take it for what it's worth. If you choose to critique it, be brutal. Poets of interest: William Shakespeare, E.E. Cummings, Sylvia Pla.. more..
