To be a child again

To be a child again

A Poem by Tears of Happy Sorrow
"

Working at a move theatre makes me wish I was a child again, back when life was simple. So I wrote this as a calling really.

"

Another boring day in this forgotten place

A building sitting in the sun taking up space

How I long to be outside on a hike

or riding around on a bike

To drink up the days just as their made

While sitting on the porch with some lemonade

And when it gets dark, a movie I'll see

Something fun that will entertain me

Then I'll sit out under the stars

Gazing Gazing up to Mars

Dreaming of better days

Running though a flowered maze

Far Far from any rat race

But sadly this is my life

White shirt and tie my sacrifice

Indoors I'll stay till night fall

After I have missed it all

And so I'll dream my life away

Untill I can find that day

When I can sit and drink up the sun

And leave the world's affiats undone
