Mystery Garden

Mystery Garden

A Poem by Izzy Insane
"

think about a moment of pure insanity and when everything around you starts becoming more secrective. its a lyrical symbol towards the end, paranoia the insanity have taken over.

"

Verse 1:

In the garden where secrets sleep

theres an apple you cant eat

a truth which must be told

for a lie to unfold

Chorus:

vines growing on the garden fence

converging on what little is left

deadly embrace to show its love

deadly embrace to show her love

Verse 2

killers merging in my head

sent to murder me in my bed

leaving fakes to take the spotlight

how can you say whats wrong is right

Chorus:

Verse 3

somethings buried under the soil

someones buried alive

euthamisms all around me

can someone protect me

Chorus:

I'd add 'please' in the last line after 'someone'... seems to fit well there. I really like the dark maiden in distress tone. Very gothic romance, victorian horror.

I'm actually shocked at how good this is (no offence) :P I love the use of a garden to show the growth of the story. 'In the garden where secrets sleep' is my favourite line
