Could the world just provide us a break?

Is this the end of times playing out now?

How much strife can the human race take?

A time for a breath if you could allow.

 

Division and derision grows daily,

News reports are rumors of war so vast.

Readings come true if my eyes don’t fail me,

Revelations come alive from the past.

 

Childhood fears coming back to haunt my soul,

I am not alone in trepidation.

Everyone is caught in life’s rigmarole,

Our spirits being forced into prostration.

 

The best advice I could ever give,

Be kind to others and live and let live.
