Meatloaf and Green Onions

Meatloaf and Green Onions

We’ve danced the same dance thirty times.

As cupid launched his arrow my way.

I have held you and dried your tears.

You have made my life complete.

A summertime romance that wasn’t mean to last,

But we committed to a lifetime together.

Meatloaf and Green Onions sustaining us.

We embark down life’s path.

Every day is Valentine’s Day,

Everyday Christmas and Halloween.

Everyday we celebrate our love.

Our union, always less than three.

Steadfast and Faithful.

Growing from Teens to adult.

Parent to Grandparents,

Journeying together content.

She has blessed my life beyond compare.

For that I smile and thank the lord.

For there is somebody for everybody,

And I am glad that I found mine.
