Begging

Begging

A Poem by Jessica Lynn

A poem written by me.

Begging

Wishing that I was in his arms.

Begging for his lips to touch mine.

Dying for him to say “I love you” to me.

His hair like summer sunshine.

His eyes like golden leaves in the fall.

His skin as cold as winter snow.

His smile as bright as a spring day.

Without him I am nothing.

Without him I would die.

I wish he could see all of this.

I wish he was with me.

Very good poem of desire. You can feel how much the narrator desires the object of the poem. Excellent job.
