In the Brightness

In the Brightness

A Poem by J. Alicia
"

cheesy :D

"
The scent of roses hung heavy near
Waxing hearts burning clear
All of wick and never ash
Timid lights a tremulous flash
Whispering sway hibiscus mist
Parchment wrist softly kissed
Breaking receiving golden flow
Oceans of honey warm in glow
Taste the trickling nectar sweet
Brush the tears kind cross the sheet
Arms of clay placate inclined
the tasted grasp of lovers entwined
Eyes mirrored by eyes amazed
Clear recognition burns unscathed
The moon floats pregnant carrying flight
In the brightness of the night.
