Break In The Clouds

Break In The Clouds

A Poem by James Probert
"

In time things will always get better

"
The darkness surrounds me
I thought I was done
But through the pain and the sadness
There may be some sun
Somehow you have wandered
Into my despair
And where once was water
You breathed in new air

There's a break in the clouds
And it's all owed to you
Your love and your kindness
Has pulled the sun through
There's still water to tread
But I won't be alone
The flood is receding
And I might get back home

I just can't believe
That someone is here
To swim to the deep end
And drive out my fear
You may be my savior
I hope you agree
When I break through the clouds
I hope you're with me

The difficult, I'll do right now - the impossible will take a little while. Yes, eventually things do get better and there will be a break in the clouds. All we need to do is focus on the light at the end of the tunnel, no matter how distant. Good to meet you, James. Welcome to the Cafe!

Light at the end of the tunnel. I liked your lines very much James Probert. Great rhythm and rhyme. My kind of poetry. Well done.
