Hypocricy

Hypocricy

A Poem by J A Lauder
"

The title is aimed at the author, not the audience...

"

There’s a lot to be said

For keeping it shut

And more to be said for not

The fear that enslaves you,

Tortures and slays you,

Is the only blockade you’ve got.

When you’re keeping the peace,

Or keeping your cool,

Facing the idiotic,

The thoughts that consume you,

Horror and move you,

You’ll see seem far less psychotic.

So whatever you think,

Have courage to speak,

And never be compromised,

Your beliefs are your own,

So let them be known,

You’ll find something more to be prized.
