Still

Still

A Poem by J.

I wanted to touch you
I wanted to kiss you
Simply hold you close
Wipe away your tears
Listen to you breathe
Knowing you're alright
Give you all the love you deserve
The love you need
To simply hug you
See you smile
Hear you laugh
Smell your scent
Left on the pillows even
Arms outstretched still
Offering my hand
Pulling you from the wasteland of Pain
I want to be there with and for you
But you are so far away
Yet so close for words to say
This heart and love is always here for you
Belonging to no other

Sitting still, remaining still, being still...is how you're waiting for someone to recognize your love for them. This is very heartfelt!
