Blackness

Blackness

A Poem by Paramount

A lowering cloud smothers the piney green needles,

A slight chill is in the air, foreshadowing unbearable circumstances,

The soft sand resembles cracking cement,

Sulfuric acid rains down like trickling blood of the teardrops of insanity,

It is no longer a maze due to the obvious slithers of the viper,

Blackness is all around, the kind that removes the scales of rectitude
